2025 ushers in the year of the Hermit, a tarot card about the spiritual world lighting the way in the dark. We spend most of January with the sun in the earth sign Capricorn, a practical and honest energy, offering us a chance to do some reflecting and realigning. We will experience an empowering shift into Aquarius as well.

This month, create a foundational understanding of what you are experiencing in both the physical and spiritual realm, so you can move intentionally through the rest of the year.

The Hermit has a Heartsong

We are being asked to balance a lot right now, to hold more than our physical bodies alone can carry.

Underneath all the emotions and drama of the human experience, there is a quiet, trusting knowing—a beaming center that is everything and nothing all at once.

We are that place. The rest is an experience we are having in our precious human body.

Our heart is the lantern that signals the experience that would be the truest expression of our unique spirit imprint—the part of us that is connected to the center that is both everything and nothing. Our heartsong when sung is a beacon that envelopes fear and pain and opens us to a peace within us and in everything.

When we accept our heartsong and align our mind with it, we step into flow with what is natural, and spread harmony across the universe. We open to faith, healing, and Love. We beam with the brightness of the center within.

This month and this year, make the choice to live in the center. Start by letting go of your hold for a moment whenever you can, and being, breathing from that place. Make a vow to try to will the will of your heart, that lantern that leads the way to the everything-nothing inside, to your divine expression. ∞
