As 2021 comes to an end, reflection can bring forward lessons and gifts that came through this year, and can help us see more clearly what we desire for the year ahead. Releasing clears space so we can invite in what is aligned & waiting for us with love.
Before you jump into setting your intentions for 2022, here are some tools to reflect on and release 2021.
XO,
Emily
Looking Back…
During the year, I journal, as well as write highlights for each day in a daily planner before I go to bed, so I have a lot of material to look over. You can also look through your photos on your phone or your calendar, or think about each month and write down memories that come up.
What were your highlights, breakthroughs, and struggles this year?
Here’s a worksheet to support reflection if that feels helpful! 💜
What were your deep lessons and gems of wisdom?
I’m curious what came up for you this year. Here are some of the gems & lessons that came through for me. Do they resonate?
We can release the outcome, we can let things go, and stay. We can shift how we interact with life. We can heal.
What is true is no human is my boss. It’s me and the Universe. I am co creating, honoring my needs, setting boundaries where I have to, and following my path.
I’m learning to accept who I am, where I am, and quiet the noise so I can listen to my wisdom.
I am aligned when I work with the unseen in a visible way.
Rest is ritual.
Deep knowing leads to true living.
Ground instead of escaping.
Let the pain crack you open.
It’s not how fast you swim but how deep you dive.
When I listen deeply and follow my path, my life opens to more flow, inspiration and love.
My decisions come from information within myself.
My value is innate & clear.
Don’t reject the parts of you that others reject in themselves.
Your authenticity is an anchor.
You have to live for you.
Ask daily: What do I need to thrive?
What are you ready to release from the past year?
Here’s a free pre recorded Intuitive Art class on release for you! You might even release the whole year in one piece of art…(if you’re not feeling like making art, another option is to write all the things you are letting go of then rip up the paper and throw it away).
Share your experience!
You can share gems of wisdom, lessons, struggles, highlights, and what you’re releasing from 2021 in the comments.
